Jesus said, "Ye must be born again" (John 3:7). Have you repented and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ? You may do good things, but as long as you sin you are the servant of sin and are eternally lost and separated from God (Romans 6:23). God's gift to you is eternal life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone (Romans 6:23). Repent and believe on Him today in full faith and He will cleanse you from all unrighteousness and make you a new creature in Christ (1 John 1:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17)! You can pray this prayer if the Lord is drawing you to Him:
Father God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I turn away from my sins in godly sorrow. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that you raised Him from the dead. I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing me from all sin. I recognize that I am saved from my sins only by your grace and not by anything I could ever do. I thank you for your forgiveness and mercy. I ask you to baptize me with your Holy Spirit right now, and that you wholly sanctify and cleanse me. In Jesus holy name I pray and believe it! AMEN!
