FEATHER'S FROM HEAVEN

The Remnant gives the following article for April 16, 1999:

FEATHERS IN REDDING, CALIFORNIA
More than 500 people in Toronto now have received gold teeth. The signs and wonders in the church have continued. At Bill Johnson's church in Redding, California small little feathers fall from the ceiling and have been doing that for some time. Bethel has been the sight of some awesome healings recently. The feathers started dropping after a Morning Star Prophet visited the church for a series of meetings.

"The feathers thing has been truly been amazing. I believe it started when we had the prophet Bobby Connors came to our church for a series of meetings. During ministry time people would see feathers fall from the ceiling and Bobby explained it as a sign of Angelic activity...I'm not sure if he was saying they were angel feathers or not.. But ever since he came...we have seen feather's falling from the ceiling...they are very small and delicate, and not many fall, but you can see them from a good distance. I saw a few fall on Easter Sunday... We have seen amazing miracles in our meetings and God is always surprising us with new things!! I hope that the fire keeps increases over there and you guys have amazing reports to give!" Kelly (a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Redding, CA.)

We know that God is going to cover the earth with many for signs and wonders but the greatest sign and wonder is when a man's heart is captured by the Holy Ghost and is brought to Jesus Christ. Let us remember that the Holy Spirit points toward Jesus, let enjoy the signs and wonders but all these works would be fruitless unless they point to Jesus on the Cross.

Angelic activity? GIVE ME A BREAK! First off, common angels DO NOT have wings or feathers. If he was not talking about angels having wings then what do the feathers have to do with? Is it the feathers of the heavenly dove garbage? For you charismatics who never read your Bibles and listen to your gurus all the time to hear God's word please try reading Matthew 3:16; Mark 1:10; and Luke 3:22. The only reference to a dove is HOW the Spirit descended NOT WHAT SHAPE HE DESCENDED IN! He descended in His bodily shape like a dove descends (Luke 3:22). Thus, when you try to make the Holy Spirit into a dove you are are a fool and are simply worshipping the creature rather than the Creator (Romans 1:25)!

These type signs and wonders have nothing to do with the Bible. These are devil manifestations if real, but they are most likely trickery by the "prophets." These leaders are known to fake signs, even using gold glitter and claiming it was a sign and real gold (see Fool's Gold). Flee from such filth into the glorious kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ! If you want true signs and wonders seek God and ask to be used by Him!
